Stand on your good leg

Things aren't exactly peachy keen jelly bean in my life right now, especially after re-injuring my already damaged leg last week. But instead of focusing on everything that isn't going well, I will concentrate on everything that rules. I refuse to give in to any sort of sadness or despair; rather I will opt to direct my energy into completing projects that will enhance my future. A wise woman once said, "If you have time to be depressed, you're not busy enough," and I believe she was right. Now is not the time to wallow in self pity, or wish things were different; now is the time to act and fix the things that are broken. I will put all my weight on my good leg as I move forward through this crazy life of mine.

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I want to be
Now is not the time to cry
Now’s the time to find out why
